Common Questions

Still deciding whether to come in?

How do I know if CareNow can treat my condition?

If it’s a non-life-threatening illness or injury — flu, strep, a sprain, a cut that needs stitches, a possible minor fracture — we can almost always help, same day and without an appointment. When you arrive, our team triages every patient, and if we ever determine you need a higher level of care, we’ll stabilize you and coordinate the next step right away.

What should I go to the ER for instead?

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room for chest pain or pressure, trouble breathing, signs of stroke (face drooping, arm weakness, slurred speech), severe allergic reactions, uncontrolled bleeding, serious head trauma, loss of consciousness, or any life-threatening emergency. Urgent care is the right choice for prompt, non-emergency needs.

How long will I wait to be seen?

Most patients are seen within 15–30 minutes of arrival. Wait times vary with patient volume and how urgent each case is, so we post a live estimate on our site, updated every 15 minutes. You can also call us at (602) 555-0219 for a current estimate before you head in.

What insurance do you accept, and what if I don’t have any?

We accept most major plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, Tricare, and Medicare. No insurance? No problem — we welcome self-pay patients with transparent pricing that starts at $99 for a basic visit. Our front desk will tell you the cost before you’re seen, so there are no surprises.

Do you treat children at CareNow?

Yes. We care for patients of all ages, including infants and children, and our providers are experienced in pediatric care. For newborns under 3 months with a fever, we recommend contacting your pediatrician or a pediatric emergency room as a precaution.

Don’t wait when you need care.

Walk in any time, 7 days a week. No appointment needed — we’ll have you seen, treated, and on your way in under an hour for most conditions.
